About Our Client
Although established 70 years ago, my client is still a small, tight knit business, with an existing footprint across the UK grocery channel. They supply Mediterranean and Middle Eastern foods, across both ambient and chilled categories, and are now looking for a National Account Executive as the expand their team to service their continued growth.
Job Description
- Support the National Account Managers in drive growth, revenue and profits across existing account base
- Hold responsibility for smaller accounts and agree JBPs, CPIs and negotiate contracts
- Work with the sales team to execute agreed sales strategies
- Monitor trends in the market to stay ahead of competition
- Identify and understand the needs and future plans of your accounts
- Analyse sales data and anticipate market trends
- Report back to the business on performance and opportunities
The Successful Applicant
- Prior experience in an account management or business development role for a food and drink brand
- Commercially minded, with skills in negotiation and influencing
- Experience working across additional UK grocers is a bonus
- Knowledge of the UK grocery channel
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
