Candidate:
“True, but that's not enough for me. I want a challenge that will really test me as I feel I can offer more value. I enjoy being outside of my comfort zone because that's when you really see personal and professional development. If I wanted an easy life, I'd stay put.”
Sound familiar…?
With this role attitude and mindset plays a pivotal part and that's where you flourish. You're the type of person that likes to foster relationships and champion best practise in all you do. You build meaningful relationships, encourage robust conversations, and have a clear vision of what you want the dynamics of a business to look like. If you're a people pleaser, then best to skip the rest of the advert.
If you've got this far then let's dig a little deeper into the role…
You will be responsible for enhancing the existing dealer's performance through the network, source and develop new business in line with expansion plans, and ensure all systems are functioning correctly across the dealer network. To achieve this, you'll have direction and backing from the MD (who you'll also report into) as well as the support of a direct team of 3 reporting to you.
You'll be working closely with various functions to develop a 3-year network plan, upgrading coverage, performing SWOT analysis on the territory, and identifying underperforming areas. Given you've got to the level you have, you'll be used to managing a P&L and having budget responsibility and you've always kept one eye on competitors and their strategies. Product marketing sits firmly within your toolkit and customer engagement / satisfaction will always underpin your core values and the high standards you set yourself, and in turn your whole team. You've always had a keen eye for detail, so you're well adept to compliance, legal and contract management.
The dealer network spans the whole of the country, so you'll be field based with an expectation to be at the HQ offices in Essex once / twice a month.

Who are you?
You're a modern-day leader that leads from the front and you're decisive, making key decisions based on intuition and data, yet still approachable and highly respected. You're fair and open and your growth / entrepreneurship nature encourages others to think alike. The business has experienced significant growth, but is still hungry for success, and you'll be a key driving force behind their continued growth journey. Ideally, you'll be degree qualified with past exposure to one of the following industries: agriculture, construction equipment, commercial vehicles, or Automotive equipment.

Why consider a move to this organisation?
They're a global leader in their field with a focus on advanced sustainable solutions. They have a history of developing pioneering solutions with a desire to continue their growth and expansion plans. They have more than 30,000 worldwide employees across 28 different locations.
