Job Description

Our client is at the forefront of telecommunications & is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to join the growing team. You will be responsible for the installation, support, and consultancy of our network solutions, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and support network equipment at customer sites, meeting agreed deadlines and company standards.
  • Foster seamless communication between partners, sales, and customers for an efficient service.
  • Provide expert consultancy and technical support to customers.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and third-party network service providers.
  • Ensure customers receive the perfect solution to meet their specific needs.
  • Plan and deliver effective training sessions, empowering customers with product knowledge.
  • Organize travel and accommodation for client site visits, adhering to company procedures.
  • Develop strong interpersonal and presentation skills to build trust and confidence during client interactions.
  • Complete accurate documentation and reports regarding equipment installation, configuration, and commissioning.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
  • Cisco CCNA accreditation OR Juniper JNCIA Qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Network Engineering/IT Support role (field-based).
  • Demonstrable ability to successfully receive technical training and subsequently deploy the imparted knowledge to best advantage.
  • Evidence of ability to investigate issues, analyse, and present options for achieving resolution.
  • Understanding of WAN/LAN solutions.


  • Desirable:
  • Experience with network documentation.
  • Cat5 cabling and fibre splicing experience.
  • Full CCNP or JNCIS certifications, or equivalent experience.
  • Firewall certification
