Network Security Engineer
DGH Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Network Security Engineer on behalf of a leading client in the Real Estate industry.
This role will provide 3rd line system and customer technical support for the end user community both in the office and at remote locations, working in an enterprise environment, underpinned by the ITIL framework, adhering to best practices.
Duties:
- Provide 3rd line technical support for 1st and 2nd line system, vendor, and customer escalations.
- Work closely with our MSPs to escalate support issues, fulfil requests, and manage the delivery of services such as IaaS and DaaS.
- Maintain a pro-active approach to operational and service issues with a strong focus on prevention (route cause analysis and first-time fixes).
- Develop technical solutions focussed on routing & switching technologies in-line with technical roadmaps & customer requirements.
- Maintain and develop product configuration and supporting documentation for use within network design, installation, and operational support teams.
Key Skills:
- Working knowledge of Network topologies and concepts (wired and wireless) - TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routers, switches etc.
- Software defined Networking experience (Azure V-Wan, Azure AVS, VMWare NSXT, Virtual Networking) is highly desirable.
- Experience of Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)
- Azure VMware Solution experience (AVS)
- Azure Cloud Engineering experience
- Network fault finding and diagnostics.
- Routing, Switching LAN/WAN administration and monitoring.
