Nursery Manager

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an Ofsted rated Outstanding nursery, or within a management structure in an Ofsted Good or above rated nursery
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • 2 years' experience in a senior role within a nursery/preschool setting
  • Kind, approachable, empathetic, calm and self-motivated
  • Ability to motivate, manage, and work effectively within a team
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and current Early Years Inspection Framework
  • Thorough knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare
  • Full-time availability, 40 hours per week across 5 days

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain high standards within the nursery, meeting EYFS requirements
  • Provide leadership and support to staff
  • Implement safeguarding policies and procedures and EYFS guidelines
  • Promote positive relationships with parents, carers and outside agencies
  • Oversee staff training, recruitment and development
  • Manage administrative duties and regulatory compliance
