Summary: Onsite Desktop Support Engineer (Windows/Mac) - 100% Office Based - Central London - 35k - 38k + Benefits


Please Note: Given the nature of this organization and security levels, this role is only suitable for UK residents with at least three years UK residency.


You will work onsite for a highly prestigious client based in Trafalgar Square in London. You'll enjoy solving IT problems for users at all levels. This 2nd line desktop support role will see you taking ownership of technical issues related to hardware, connectivity, and permissions for an organisation working in business and media. The IT estate is a mix of Windows / Mac so skills in both would be good. The role will come with the backup and support of a world-class team for one of the UK's most prestigious IT service providers.


You will need to feel comfortable with working with high profile users that expect the highest level of customer service and support

Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support to our VIP customers for Windows and Mac desktops, laptops, and related peripherals.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues for Windows and Mac platforms.
Manage and resolve technical incidents and service requests within established service-level agreements.
Maintain hardware inventory and ensure timely resolution of hardware issues.
Perform system updates and upgrades, including hardware and software installations.
Work closely with the IT team to ensure that all IT policies and procedures are followed and adhered to.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in providing on-site desktop support in a corporate environment.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, hardware, and software.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
A valid driver's license and access to a car is required.
