Part time Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant | Real Estate and Investment | Remote Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a Real Estate and Investment business on the hire of a part time Bookkeeper to join the team.The RoleThis role will support the Finance Director and be a primary point of contact for the bookkeeping for a handful of entities within their group. The core duties for the position oversee month end reconciliations, cash reporting and working on VAT/Tax filings.The ClientThe culture of the business is very inclusive, and this is reflected in the role which would suit candidates looking for flexibility but who also enjoy working with autonomy. This role will be remotely based and have the expectation to support the business for 25 hours weekly on a part time basis (this can be across 4 or 5 days)Responsibilities:Ownership of the complete balance sheet reconciliations for the different entitiesRecording the day-to-day financial transactions. Inputting and coding invoices accurately and compiling payment summaries for approvalWorking across the banking platforms to enter payment details accuratelyCredit card reconciliations and expensesCash flow reportsOwnership of accounting for different entities and investments including monthly management reporting and year end entriesSupport with Tax for UK and US entities. Working closely with external advisors to complete the yearly tax returnsSupport the FD with reports around cost monitoring, reporting against budget (variances) and updating cashflow forecastsAd-hoc projects and improvements to further efficiency across the functionWhat we need to see (Essential):· Experience with QuickBooks or similar cloud accounting software package· Excellent communication skills· Strong Academic background· At least 2 years bookkeeping experienceSalary: £40,000-£42,000 Pro RataHours: 25 Hours per weekAdditional benefits: Remote workingPlease get in touch with Dan on Dan@harmonicfinance.com for further information.
