Our client is an international law firm who is seeking a Planning Solicitor with 0-6PQE to join their team in Edinburgh.

The planning team act for a wide range of clients including large developers, energy companies, utilities and public sector bodies to deliver major energy & infrastructure and development projects, development consent orders, compulsory purchase and compensation matters, planning applications and appeals, s36 consents, marine licences, EIA and HRA, public local inquiries, roads law matters, judicial review, asset protection matters, and some major real estate and energy/infrastructure transactions.
In this role you will support work consenting some of the largest and most notable energy & infrastructure and development projects across the UK. The team operates as a UK team and therefore you will have the opportunity to work across the UK or focus solely on Scottish planning matters.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 0 to 6 years’ post-qualification experience within a planning practice and will have a genuine enthusiasm for energy and infrastructure consenting work. You will have some experience in development consent orders and/or compulsory purchase orders, ideally gained within a recognised planning team.
