Location: North England
Salary: £65-£70K
- A PhD in power systems, or a comparable degree, or, in the absence of a postgraduate degree, at least five years of relevant work experience
- Proven track record in composing grant applications for research and innovation financing programmes, including Horizon Europe, Innovate UK, Strategic Innovation Fund, and Network Innovation Allowance
- Proven track of drafting BAU project proposals for both domestic and international clients
- Proven track record of managing a group of specialists to accomplish project milestones and composing project reports
- Proven ability to model and analyse networks using any commercial software programme, including PSCAD, DIgSILENT Powerfactory, IPSA, and others
- An understanding of the distribution and transmission networks in Great Britain
- Proficient communication abilities both in writing and speaking
- A well-rounded person who can operate both alone and collaboratively
- Proficient in Python programming with pertinent experience in integration and continuous development
- Knowledge of creating and implementing web applications on Azure platforms
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git version control systems
- A proclivity towards commercial awareness and proactive pursuit of novel business prospects
