Requirements:

- Cloud-based Software and engineering skills and practices using .NET / .NET Core
Strong experience of EF / EF Core, ASP.NET Core building Web APIs
Comfortable using Microsoft Azure - especially PaaS components
Azure Functions or similar "serverless" technologies
Git, Continuous Integration and TDD


Responsibilities:

- You will be a central member of the product development team, reporting directly to the CTO, helping to build and enhance our xbim Flex cloud platform, enabling our partners to create the next generation of services powered by BIM data and 3D digital twins.
You will be engaged with the core Flex platform development, using C#, .NET Core and a range of Azure services as the main technologies. As a Principal Software Engineer, we're expecting you to take the lead on some of our major R&D initiatives, but of course we'll provide a thorough on-boarding to enable you to hit the ground running.
This role is ideal for a mid-level to senior engineer looking to move onto the next level, and seeking the challenge to be the a lead developer on our 'PaaS' technology platform. We're a collaborative and open team, and we're looking for people to bring in new ideas and skills, and share our unique expertise.
The role supports remote working with occasional visits to the Newcastle office.
