Post Title: Principal Aseptic Technician
Band: 6/7 - dependent on experience/skill
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: minimum 3 months
Days: 5 Monday to Friday
Hours: 37.5
Skills: Daily management of Technical Services Unit including:
- Management of workload to ensure efficient and effective service
- staff skill mix/rota organisation
- stock ordering and control
- training and line management of staff
- management of quality assurance process such as monitoring, cleaning, quality exceptions, change controls, document update and control
- Checking process e.g. worksheets, assembly
- Senior knowledge and experience of aseptic manipulation and processes within the preparation of an aseptic product
- Experience in cytotoxic manufacture
- Professional technician and role model to junior staff
- Recent evidence of skills required
