Hydrogen Project Engineer/Project Manager

Hydrogen developer, focusing on a number of key Blue & Green Hydrogen projects across the UK, currently looking to grow out their team and bring on a project engineer to support their Head of Green Hydrogen on a number of new green hydrogen projects & ongoing blue hydrogen projects. Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and coordination of Green Hydrogen projects, including key initiatives like HAR2.
  2. Provide crucial support on government funding deadlines, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
  3. Work cohesively with internal and external project teams for the successful and timely completion of milestones, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented environment.
  4. Utilize a robust engineering background, with a specialized focus on green hydrogen technologies.
  5. Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to ensure the fulfillment of technical requirements.
  6. Support feasibility analyses for key projects, contributing valuable insights to project planning.
  7. Support on project deliverables, ensuring they align with our strategic goals.
  8. Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including refineries and government bodies.
  9. Facilitate effective communication channels to ensure project objectives are met.
  10. Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  11. Navigate challenges with adaptability and apply problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.

Experience Required:

A solid technical Engineering background, demonstrating expertise in project management and engineering principles. Experience in green hydrogen projects is a significant advantage, showcasing a deep understanding of the industry landscape. Familiarity with government funding processes and compliance standards, with a proactive approach to staying updated on new hydrogen-specific regulations. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Proven experience contributing to the development process of green hydrogen projects, including successful involvement in feasibility assessments and project planning. Demonstrated ability to apply engineering principles to the design and implementation of sustainable energy solutions. Proficiency in project documentation, technical specifications, and report generation.
