Excellent opportunity for Infrastructure Project Managers to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services - Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for successful delivery of complex customer IT Infrastructure projects from planning, design to implementation.
- Manages the projects from start to completion including the resolution of project risks and issues.
- Provides leadership and management of the various project managers and teams within the program.
- Budget Management, Escalation Management, Resource Management
- Stakeholder coordination by having weekly and Fortnight calls to track the budget, Migration timelines and Progress
- Ensures project goals and performance metrics are achieved.
- Ensures that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and are accepted by the customer.
- Responsible for regular customer and internal program status and project financial reporting. Financial Management and Benefits Delivery practices
- Responsible for organizing and leading the various project teams and project governance team meetings.
- Achieve excellence on defined internal success parameters such as schedule, cost, and process adherence, quality of deliverables, minimum rework, planned effort and higher customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Experience
- Strong Project and Programme Management Skills
- A capable knowledge of Financial Management and Benefits Delivery practices.
- Experience in working on Projects based on Networking like migration or transition.
- Experience in Budget Management, Escalation Management, Resource Management
- Strong communication, relationship and consulting skills
- Knowledge and experience with suppliers and supplier solutions
- Excellent business acumen with sensitivity to environment
- Experience with Project Management and Delivery methodologies and Standard.
- Extensive background in Infrastructure Project/Program Management.
- Proficient/certified in Project Management Tools and Processes, such as PMI and/or Prince 2.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management & conflict resolution.
- Proven people and customer management skills.
