Main tasks/areas of responsibility:
  The new organisation will participate in Semco Maritime’s international energy projects and focus on the attractive opportunities in the Polish renewable energy market, which is growing rapidly with the prospect of several interesting wind energy projects being established and expected to increase the production of offshore wind energy to 8 GW by 2030. Local presence is crucial for Semco Maritime’s ability to tender for these projects and establish a strong network in the region where many collaborators and customers are already represented.. You will be a part of our Procurement Organisation.
As our new colleague, you will be responsible for taking a proactive role in the tender process, identifying and ensuring the sourcing of prices and terms for inclusion in bids, the right suppliers are selected, and prices and terms are commercially favourable and aligned with the sales budget and client contract form. During project tendering and execution, you take ownership of final negotiations and agreements with suppliers, taking lead on project procurement planning and coordination with your peers in Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing teams.

 Your responsibilities
  Procurement/ sourcing support the team during project tender phase :
    • RFQ for main systems and components (transformers, switchgear, SCADA, UPS, dies. generator, HVAC, HV/MV cables
    • Commercial terms clarification and discussion with suppliers
    • Supplier relationship management for large OEMs (ex. Siemens Energy, Hitachi AB)
Lead procurement activities during project execution phase :
    • Contracting process and contract management for long-lead items
    • Review and update procurement plan with project Planner
    • Review and update procurement budget with Cost Controller and PM
    • Assignment of procurement tasks to buyers – supervising work performed for these tasks
Key criteria for success:
  • Ensure valid data within IFS and other company systems
  • Establish correct document structure within project systems and tools
  • Ability to plan own work assignments
  • Deliverables are forwarded on time
  • Customer requirements are met
  • Proactive participation in projects and cost out initiatives
Our requirements:
Professional competences:
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in Business or Supply chain management,
  • Broad knowledge and min. several years of experience within Contracts and Procurement and Sourcing for renewables energy i.e. wind, and/or oil & gas projects
  • Client/Supplier Relationship Management
  • Contract Change Management and handling of claims
  • Effective stakeholder Management
  • Tendering
  • Courage to speak up and highlight potential improvement areas
  • Specific knowledge and experience with FIDIC standard contracts within EPC project environments in Energy
  • Contract preparation and negotiations
  • Fluency in English required, Danish or other European language will be additional advantage
