Our client, an independent Property Management
company
is looking to recruit a Property Manager to join their
existing
team as their portfolio continues to grow.
Job Role:
To ensure the property is
maintained
during the tenancy and contract holders and landlords receive the highest level of customer service in relation to any issues at the property.
Handle the checkout process up to and including the processing of the deposit.
Main Duties:
Liaise with contract-holder and landlords on any property maintenance issues or any issues relating to a contract, ensuring notes are logged.
Communicating with all stakeholders consistently
ensuring
a high standard of service by email,
phone
and letter.
Ensure property is ready for move in by reviewing inspections (checkouts and inventories) and all works completed prior to move in.
Ensure certificates
required
on properties are in date and valid, including a valid gas safety certificate, carbon monoxide alarm, electrical safety certificate and ensuring that mains-powered smoke alarms are in place.
Process the deposit at the end of tenancy and liaise with the contract-holder and landlord.
Notify landlords when a contract-holder gives notice and ensure the property is advertised
Arrange the checkout inspection when a contract-holder gives notice and supply information of the checkout process.
Handle queries received by email,
phone and post
and resolve noting all actions for reference
.
Assist
with cover in other branches/departments where necessary.
Be responsible for
the emergency line placed on a
rota
with other members of the team
.
Experience/
Qualifications
required
:
Previous
experience working in the Property Sector
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Professional and hardworking
