Job Description
A prominent construction company based in London is seeking an experienced Proposals Manager to join its Head Office team on a permanent basis. This role involves overseeing tender processes for civil engineering infrastructure projects and ideally would like someone from an M&E background.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring thorough comprehension of client requirements within the tender team.
- Creating and managing tender schedules, holding progress debrief meetings.
- Directly supervising and managing the tender team throughout the process and lifecycle.
- Making substantial operational contributions by crafting, reviewing, and finalizing bids.
- Collaborating with planners to detail project plans as per client specifications.
- Assisting the procurement department in interviewing potential supply chain partners.
- Coordinating with subcontractors for technical data and supporting estimators in pricing.
- Ensuring consistency between technical and cost production volumes.
- Drafting risk management documentation for projects/services to be provided.
- Liaising with relevant departments to ensure bid feasibility and deliverability.
- Generating post-bid reviews and handover documentation.
Ideal candidates should possess:
- Demonstrated success in leading tenders for construction/civil engineering projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
