Description of position:
Pub Chef for a newly refurbished pub
Responsible for delivering a set menu of freshly made/prepared dishes.
Supervising the presentation and delivery of food to a brand standard
Operating a safe and hygienic kitchen
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Maintain and develop the quality of food and service delivered to our guests
To take the lead in the Kitchen ensuring that the high levels of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
To conform to all Food Safety guidelines
To liaise with the Venue Manager on a daily basis to raise any issues/concerns to ensure effective communication throughout the team
To attend all company training courses
To assist in all function work outside their normal duties
Any other reasonable and relevant duties as defined by the Venue Manager
The ideal candidate should:
Have experience in a similar role including previous experience of running a pub kitchen
Have good communication skills
Be available to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
Be passionate about delivering exceptional Food Quality
Ideally have a level 2 food hygiene certificate although training can be given
Be confident to work on own initiative as necessary
Have a 'Nothing is too much trouble' attitude
