Python Software Engineer - Airflow, Trino & AWS
Full time - Remote Working (Must be a UK based Developer)
£55,000-£75,000 + Benefits inc 33 Days Holiday, 6% Pension & Much more.

As a software engineer you will be working with on main tech stack, which includes Python and SQL with Airflow, Trino, Spark and more, all of which is hosted in AWS. It's a collaborative team of 30+ Engineers, who are UK based and working remotely full time. The team work hard and are passionate about what they do, while they ensure you will have fun along the way.

Responsibilities

The team believe in the power of technology to make health care fast, better, and more accessible to all, and therefore you will play a key part in supporting on delivering the best products within the HealthTech industry. Expect to spend 75% of the time working on improving software and 25% of the time working directly with customers to understand their needs and helping them take advantage of the platform. Meaning, you really will be able to see the difference you are making daily.

Other key responsibilities and accountability's will include;

* You will be involved in all aspects of the development life cycle including architecture, code reviews, testing, as well as cutting code
* Support the enhancement of the product to add new features and improve functionality
* Work closely with your team, providing support and guidance to your peers as well as actively contributing to tech discussions
* Work to ensure we have solutions to complex problems

Desired Experience

You will demonstrate significant experience in a Senior and/or Lead Software Development/Engineering position.

We want you to be able to take ownership and accountability for what you are doing and be comfortable working with autonomy and using your initiative.

Here, we are advocated for promoting the ability to think freely and creatively. We want you to have a curious nature, looking at improvements and efficiency's and have evidence of where you have done this before.

Other key skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include;
* Significant experience of Python
* Exposure to SQL and/or AWS would be great
* Knowledge of big data technologies e.g., Trino, Hadoop or Pyspark
* Ability to build trusted and credible relationships with your peers, stakeholders, and customers
* Analytical thinker and natural problem solver
