Job Description

Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting: We are currently looking for a Quality and Environment Manager for our client based in the Stoke area.

Immediate start available (Subject to interview process) Salary will be £40,000
- £45,000 depending on experience plus allowance.

Role & Responsibilities Liaise on all Quality and Environment issues across the three sites with all site personnel.

Ensure environmental reporting across the three sites is undertaken under the Plant Managers management and reporting to the EA is conducted when required.

Manage the sample process for all sites including recording and review of analysis, advising on course of action where applicable.

Implement the Legionella Monitoring Scheme as defined by the Risk Assessment Review and advise where necessary on Boiler Water sampling and result analysis.

Interpret and advise on effluent sample.

Undertaking routine environmental compliance audits Ensuring all company environmental procedures and documentation are up to date and reflect current industry best practice.

Review and update, as necessary.

Monitoring and reviewing and providing advice on all appropriate legal and technical changes to ensure these are current and reflect best practice.

Informing all personnel of their individual duties and responsibilities with regard to environmental control and management and ensuring that relevant environmental information is communicated within all levels of the Company as required.

Play an integral part in the management, developing and internal auditing of the company's certified Integrated Management System.

Assessment of the environmental aspects and impacts relating to the company's operations and for developing proposals for the annual environmental objectives, targets and management programme.

Work with site management to establish Company Q&E Objectives and Targets Dealing with environmental meetings and communications from regulators, the general public and other interested parties Communicating and reporting changes, updates, future developments and progress of the integrated management systems to all relevant parties via management review, IMS progress report, ad hoc meetings, verbally and/or email Reporting on the performance and effectiveness of the IMS, including recommendations for improvement, to top management during managers meetings, management review meetings, and ad hoc meetings if required Ensuring, where applicable, the promotion of awareness of customers' requirements throughout the organisation.Qualifications/Experience/Skills: Qualification in a science/environmental based discipline Membership of an appropriate professional body e.g., IEMA Internal Auditor Certificate (ISO9001/ISO14001)In the first instance, send CV's to or call (phone number removed) (option 1) for Engineering.
