Job Description
SSQ's Client, an Elite US Private Practice, is looking to recruit a Mid-Senior Real Estate Finance Lawyer for a period of 6-12 months (with the possibility of the role becoming permanent).
The Team
The Real Estate Finance team is part of the wider Real Estate team which also includes a sub-team working on M&A transactions and equity arrangements. REF is a key area of investment for the firm, with the team growing considerably in the last few years.
The Work
They work across all european jurisdictions for their leading private equity clientele. The team take the lead on driving financing transactions from start to finish and have expertise in a variety of debt structures, including senior-only, senior/mezzanine, whether syndicated or securitised loans and also agented CMBS transactions, in cross-jurisdictional transactions. They also advise in relation to loan-on-loan, public-to-private, NAV facilities, acquisitions bridges and corporate unsecured financings which are increasingly becoming relevant in the real estate market.
They are one of the most highly regarded practices in this space, and are looking to bring lawyers with 4-6 PQE into the team as to hit the ground running. If you are looking to get some US experience and exposure to top quality REF work, please apply or contact chloe.graham@ssq.com
