This is a temporary contract to cover a maternity leave within the recruitment team. This would be a great opportunity for a quality-focused, professional and experienced recruitment coordinator/officer to join an established HR and Recruitment team and support the department at the operational level.

Our client is a well established public sector organisation based in central Slough. You'll be working closely with the recruitment team and the wider HR team. This role allows for a high level of involvement at the operational function of the department.
Description
The Recruitment Officer (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for:
- Writing and posting engaging job adverts for maximum candidate engagement
- Managing applicant processes accurately from start to finish in the applicant tracking system
- Handling pre-screening of prospective candidates and arranging interviews with hiring managers
- Liaising with hiring managers for interview feedback and sharing this with applicants
- Ad hoc recruitment administration to support the department at the operational level
Profile
The ideal Recruitment Officer (Maternity Cover) will have the following skills/qualities:
- Demonstrable experience within recruitment Coordination duties
- Previous experience with applicant tracking systems and job boards
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Flexible approach to workload in a busy environment, with the ability to multi task and prioritise
- Immediately Available
