Our client, an infrastructure contractor with a focus on multi-utilities and highways, wishes to recruit a Regional Director to manage a significant P&L. The Regional Director will be responsible for strong operational performance, growing the business and creating a collaborative working environment.
The contractor has great potential and is well-known within the UK market. The role would become a part of a high-quality and respected senior leadership team. With a collaborative leadership approach and a strong commercial and operational mindset, the Regional Director can make a lasting impact on this business.
Responsibilities
- Develop the regional strategy and ensure that this is successfully implemented and delivered.
- Work with managers and business development teams to support the growth of the business within the region. This will include business retention and new business acquisition.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and customers.
- Lead operations across the region, ensuring that company targets are delivered.
- Hands-on leader, working closely with front line operations.
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing significant operational teams of 100+ staff across multiple locations.
- Experience of fast-paced contracting environments a must; a background in Utilities, Highways, Plant, Construction Services, Hard FM or Waste Management would suit.
- Strong business development skills.
- Track record of successful P&L management.
- Proven experience with business change, transformation or improving the P&L of a business or division.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- Modern leadership skills.
