POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Europe Region will provide guidance to the chapters, chapter leadership and Regional Council members (mainly Area Directors) across Europe consistent with the mission and vision statements of the organization. The Manager will advise chapter board officers on standard chapter operations and best practices. The manager's primary goal is to create healthy, growing chapters that consistently delivervalue to their members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a portfolio of chapters throughout the region, building relationships, and helping to provide a valuable member experience.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Presidents, Chapter Staff, Chapter Officers, Area Director, and Members of those chapters, working with them to address issues and provide alignment with organizational policies and procedures Promote Chapter health and keep Presidents informed on upcoming items as well as their chapters’ status towards achieving the overall goal.
  • Serve as the staff liaison to Area Directors and support them in leading and delivering value to their assigned chapters.
  • Help chapters with various issues throughout the year with the main goal of putting the chapter in the best possible position to succeed.
  • Provide clear and concise communication regarding the direction and requirements of the global organization to the chapters.
  • Assist the regional Director in preparing for the annual Presidents’ Meeting, Alignment Meeting, and Global Leadership Conference; provide logistic support for multiple annual regional events
  • Aid in chapter strategic planning and execution during annual summit meetings (virtual or in-person), monthly area calls, and other scheduled chapter events; represents the global organization and region during these meetings.
  • Promote the EO Strategy Summit programme and assist staff in strategic planning and execution, attending summit meetings annually as needed.
  • Drive the onboarding process for new chapters, with support from the Growth team
  • Coordinate translations and interpretation initiatives (if applicable) in collaboration with the Brand team and/or external vendors
  • Performs other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ professional experience, preferably in a nonprofit/association/membership organization.
  • Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
  • Event and logistic experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools such as Samepage and Sharpspring (CRM) etc. preferred.
  • Ability to interact with entrepreneurs with tact, diplomacy and poise.
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
  • A self-starter who desires to show ownership and commitment to the job.
  • Exercises confidentiality and discretion.
  • Willingness and availability to travel to local and international meetings.
  • Promotes cultural competency and global awareness.
  • Establishes relationships proactively; shows genuine interest in the needs and concerns of others; maintain a positive attitude; build networks.
