This exciting key role will work closely with the CEO to lead the business through its next successful growth phase.The Sales Director will further develop and refine the sales and marketing strategic plan and ensure its successful implementation. Leading from the front, the Sales Director will drive sales and at the right time recruit a sales team to help deliver this ongoing growth.THE ROLE- SALES DIRECTORThe Sales Director will be a growth focused sales leadership professional who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. You fully understand and have successfully led all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and closing by applying deep sales process and technical expertise.The new appointee will develop successful relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest cloud-based technologies.Specific responsibilities:Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.Interacts with senior management levels at clients, determines pursuit strategies, develops client messaging plans and relationships, and applies industry-leading Cloud transformation strategies and practices.Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Building and leading sales and account management teams.Experience RequiredQualifications: Graduate or graduate calibre academic qualificationsProven experience of successfully selling/closing deals in the professional technology services space, ideally Cloud enablement migration and modernization and Public Cloud managed services.Successful experience of selling solutions to clients with significant user numbers, ideally over 250+Experience of leading and managing other sales professionals
