Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative science lesson plans for students
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any concerns
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Excellent knowledge of the Science curriculum and ability to deliver engaging lessons
- Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest educational practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
