Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum
- Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Participate in meetings, professional development sessions, and school events as required
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
