Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging science lessons to students in accordance with the national curriculum
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of the students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and implement cross-curricular activities
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and productive learning environment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Secondary Education with a specialization in Science
- Proven experience as a Science Teacher, preferably in a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for inspiring students and promoting a love for science
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
