You have industrial, hands-on lab experience within cancer drug discovery. How would your work have its greatest impact? Would it be designing and implementing medium-throughput screens, biochemical and cell based assays for drugs that can help one third of cancer patients?
Are you weary of the “whack a mole” nature of oncology R&D? What if you could target cancer in a way that kills malignant tissue but limits the side effects to the patients’ healthy cells?
We are working with an oncology drug discovery startup that has built an incredible and collaborative team of chemists, genomics & drug discovery scientists to discover a drug targeting ecDNA: an oncogenic driver found in one third of tumours, but not at all within healthy cells. They are hiring a Pharmacology Scientist to drive their research forward in the lab.
