ABOUT THE ROLE



Responsible for business generation and the introduction of new clients, as well as managing existing clients and their relocation & rental home search requirements, and beyond.



This position requires a good understanding of the differences between British and Japanese culture, including conception of housing market in general, the role of agencies, rules and regulations related in lettings.



As an organically grown desk that deals with Japanese businesses, this desk has been a playing a crucial role to be a point of contact for any Japanese businesses to the firm. The team has been dealing with Japanese landlord's asset management, investment portfolio advice and management, commercial lease advice, retail acquisition advice, as well as dispose existing assets by Japanese investors.


The person will join in the team of wealth of experience, combined nearly 50 years.



This position is therefore a gateway for further business generation beyond residential lettings to become a true partnership in the firm



Responsibilities:



Via business generation calls and/or presentations to large corporates, obtain instructions on the lease requirements of their employees.


Advise a diverse database of clients on the relocation and rental home search process


Match prospective tenants with properties, conduct property tours and advise on lease terms


Communicate effectively with all concerned to ensure that deals are managed in an efficient and professional manner


Maintain a high profile with the client base in order to obtain further instructions


Understand the benefits to this client base and have a sound knowledge of contemporary property values together with a keen awareness of local competition


Research data accurately and present this information in writing to a highly professional standard


Build and maintain goodwill, confidentiality and trust with prospective and existing clients at all times in order to foster the professional image of the Partnership


Perform all tasks delegated by the Partner in Charge as required




Experience required:



Japanese language skills (Native level)
English language skills (Business to Native level)
