About The Ambassador Platform

The Ambassador Platform (TAP) is the market leader in Experience Communication Management (XCM) technology for global education providers. Our product enables 100+ global Higher Education providers to share an authentic digital insight into what the experience of being part of their institution is really like by allowing prospects to engage directly with ambassadors, through conversations, user-generated content and live events. Every month our platform facilitates tens of thousands of messages between ambassadors and prospects.

Our culture

TAP is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. We operate a 'high trust, high performance, and high transparency' culture. Our key focus is on strong outcomes, where everyone is self-motivated and empowered to take responsibility and accountability for their own performance and the completion of work, but is given reasonable flexibility for the management of their own time. In conjunction with this there is high visibility around progress and outcomes across the company, and everyone is expected and encouraged to highlight areas of improvement. Above all, we value the people we work with, building strong and lasting relationships, and are always friendly, kind and approachable.

  • Own ‘new business’ revenue in the EMEA region working alongside two Business Development Reps and our Marketing team who will be generating leads and booking meetings for you. TAP is launching new partnerships and products as well as expanding into adjacent sectors to Higher Education so it’s an exciting time for growth. You’ll be a key part of this innovation, figuring out new approaches and helping the whole team scale.
  • Teach your colleagues in the Commercial Team how we can grow faster and be more successful from your previous experience and learnings gained on the job. The Business Development Representatives you’ll be working with are recent graduates and looking to grow in their careers as sales people. They will be looking to you for mentorship and guidance in their development.
  • Learn about TAP’s solution and our sales process so that you’re able to talk to senior decision makers about how Experience Communication Management can solve problems for their organisation and consistently close deals. Learn about new sector opportunities by driving forward our experimentation as well as developing go-to-market strategies.
  • Improve TAP’s sales process by constantly iterating on your approach to find new and improved ways of doing things. An example of a business priority that this role would be working towards improving is reducing the length of our sales cycle.

Progress

Within 1 month you will have completed our supportive and comprehensive onboarding process and be a fully integrated team member.

Within 3 months you will be a fully-ramped team member with knowledge of all of our systems, fully productive in terms of your activities and, most likely, will have closed your first deal.

Within 6 months you will be confident in the role, consistently closing deals and contributing to team knowledge and process improvements. Additionally, you’ll be supporting more junior team members with their development and getting involved in sector development projects.

  • Flexible working focussed on outcomes to maximise your productivity
  • A calendar of wellness activities and incentives encouraging physical and mental wellbeing
  • 33 days holiday a year (including bank holidays);
  • Team activities including team trips overseas
