Job Title: Senior Account Manager


Role Overview: As a Senior Account Manager, you will be the epitome of exceptional programme management, overseeing and leading the planning and delivery of account activities and programmes to meet client objectives. You will provide strategic input, ensure quality delivery within budget and schedule, and contribute to the growth of the account. This role involves line management responsibilities and providing leadership within the team.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of projects, ensuring they are on brief, on time, and budget, with minimal guidance.
  • Develop and implement working project plans to ensure timely delivery.
  • Recommend feasible deadlines and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with agency and client standards, approval processes, and compliance.
  • Provide valuable input to programmes at a strategic level.
  • Lead internal brainstorms on account strategies.
  • Understand the disease area, brand data, and competitor landscape to inform content creation.
  • Contribute proactive ideas, programmes, and solutions to help clients achieve objectives.
  • Provide expertise in estimating and budgeting, ensuring comprehensive and accurate estimates.
  • Manage full financial aspects, including reconciliations and invoicing.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Plan and lead internal planning meetings.
  • Manage client liaison effectively, influencing and guiding decision-making.
  • Engage confidently with opinion leaders and manage communications effectively.
  • Support business development efforts, including research and proposal development.
  • Line manage junior team members, ensuring clear objectives and regular feedback.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Communications).
  • Proven experience in programme management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Sound financial management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
