Job Description
Our client is looking for a DV cleared Senior Communications Business Partner to join them on a contract basis. This role will fall outside IR35. This position is mainly remote with very occasional travel to London and the Southwest required.The ideal candidate will have worked on at least three complex technology transformation programmes, working in either a communications or change management role. An understanding ofdigital technology is essential, as is an ability to understand new technology concepts quickly. This knowledge will underpin your ability to join the dots and develop robust messaging to tell a strong story.You'll be responsible for:
- Building a strong network across the organisation and within your project teams,
understanding their offering so that you can be their voice to the customer and other stakeholders as needed
- Getting insights into customers' technology experiences to help form communications that address their problems. Recommend interviews, surveys, focus groups and data analysis etc to your project teams to give a true understanding of the customer situation. Use this input to layout the 'think, feel, do' as part of your communications approach
- Developing communication strategies that define the communications approach, content requirements, implementation plan and measurement criteria
- Building your work on a thorough stakeholder analysis for your technology change initiative. In this you will challenge positively, manage expectations and make sure that any risks/ issues are escalated appropriately.
- Working as an active member of the project team and making sure you get the approval of the project manager and other key stakeholders
- Developing message hierarchies for core audience groups and translating complex information into clear storylines and consumable content
Skills and experience:
- Has considerable experience in complex technology transformation programmes, specialising in communications or change management
- Is digitally-savvy with the skill to grasp new technologies quickly and understand how they make a difference
- Is proactive, positive and high energy and who's driven to make a difference
- Has natural people skills and builds strong and deep stakeholder relationships
- Is a quick thinker, loves a challenge and has strong problem-solving ability
- Is data literate and able to manipulate information
- Has excellent all-round project management and organisational skills
- Works well under pressure, prioritising and managing high volumes of workload
- with the ability to move between projects easily and act quickly
