What you'll be doing::
  • Resourceful, pragmatic with a proven ability to get things done.
  • Hands on.
  • A journalist’s instinct for what constitutes a good story, and the ability to capture the story in prose.
  • Ideally you will have experience of working in a professional services organisation.
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Ideally, experience of working with and getting the most from third party agencies.
  • Able to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment while driving towards clarity and solutions.
  • Strong oral communication skills, with an excellent command of English.
  • Strong copy-writing skills (ideally you either have written blogs, articles and speeches).
  • Familiarity with knowledge management tools (e.g. Intranets, Internal Comms platforms, Sharepoint etc).
  • Strong knowledge of internal communications, concepts tools and techniques.
  • Undergraduate marketing degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Ideally, CIPR diploma.
  • Visibly demonstrate the NTT DATA values: Clients First, Teamwork and Foresight.
What you'll need::

The role of the Communication Manager / Senior Manager is to be responsible for the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy, driving best in class employee engagement and experience.

  • Continue to develop and execute the company wide Internal Communications strategy
  • Understand, segment and engage with main profiles of our internal audiences and create communication strategies that will engage those audiences
  • Make improvements based on measurable objectives for raising awareness and strengthening employee engagement
  • Work across the team to deliver visibility of our leadership team and key individuals to help share our vision and purpose and inspire our people.

Content

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and an ability to translate important messages into effective, persuasive content.
  • Write all company-wide messages, announcements, speeches, briefings and features using creative, authentic language, that help to make our story engaging, interesting and meaningful for our people.
  • Create a broad network of content owners, influencers and senior leaders across the business to support the delivery of the strategic internal communications plan.
  • Be the editorial champion for all executive comms ensuring that the highest level of standards are maintained.

Implementation

  • To drive the effective and cost-efficient execution of the internal relations and communication plan
  • Using marketing tools such as Pardot to execute comms activities
  • Own and drive all internal communication platforms and channels - direct mail, video, intranet, MS teams, town halls and more.
  • Work and liaise with senior management, including CEO, COO and HR department
  • Use in-house and external third parties for creation of content
  • Collaborate with colleagues throughout the organisation including global colleagues to learn from, contribute to and to drive internal communication and knowledge sharing best practices.
  • Test and validate new approaches to communication with employees/stakeholders
  • Using data, measurement, and analytics to inform content decisions and refine plans
