An exciting new senior communications manager role has arisen in this leading international mid- tier law firm to cover a 12 mth contract.

This role reports to the head of communications and the communications team is part of the firm's business development & marketing department.
The role will cover communications but the key focus will be on the internal communications drive in order to ensure the CEO's messaging is cascaded across the firm and also communicate effectively on the firms office openings.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Plan and manage the communication efforts in relation to important annual events, such as the global partner promotions round and firm financials
- Advising the chief executive and other members of the global leadership team in the preparation of strategic communications that support the firm's business objectives, including preparing briefing documents and attending media interviews
- Identify and secure profile raising opportunities for members of the firm's global leadership team and partnership, which enhance the firm's legal expertise and reputation
- Alongside the head of communications, manage the firm's approach to sharing news and strategically relevant information via the firm's internal communications channels
- Guide business development team members in their international offices to ensure that their media relations and internal communications efforts follow best practice
- Provide hands-on support, including guidance and the editing of written materials
- Ensure relevant members of the firm's leadership team are media trained and educated in crisis communications
You will be a highly experienced communications professional from legal or PS background that can hit the ground running for this contract role. You will also have excellent gravitas with senior stakeholders and partners to help deliver the communications strategy across the firm
