Job Title: Senior Court of Protection Solicitor
Salary: Up to £75,000
Location: Worthing
A fantastic opportunity has arisen with my client, a leading law firm based in West Sussex. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Adviser with particular Court of Protection experience to join a growing Private Client department.
We are seeking candidates with 6 to 10 years PQE who are looking to join a highly reputable firm as part of an ambitious growth strategy. We are looking for candidates who are keen to bring value to an already established firm on a Permanent, Fixed Term Contract or Locum basis.
Duties include:
- To handle a caseload of matters relating to the court of protection
- Working closely with a range of clients to provide fast and pragmatic advice
- Working with marketing strategies to attract new clients and developing relationships with current clients
- Assisting in development opportunities internally and externally
- Working collaboratively with senior team members and delegating appropriate work to junior reports
The successful candidate will have:
- Relevant experience working in a Private Client department
- Some knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act
- Ability to manage your workload, knowing when to delegate and when to request additional input, to provide the best client service
- An understanding of clients as our business partners & the importance of knowing what is key for them
- A willingness to engage in business development
- Ambition, leadership capability and vision to work as a team to grow the business
Package:
- Up to £70,000
