JOB TITLE: Senior Criminal Solicitor
LOCATION: North Wales
SALARY: £59-£68k

THE ROLE:
An unrivalled career development opportunity has arisen with a leading public sector organisation for a talented Criminal Solicitor with leadership experience. Joining this thriving national organisation, the successful Criminal Solicitor will be tasked with managing a team of specialist Solicitors and Barristers and supporting them to achieve and succeed in their role. Duties will range from supporting directly with casework and advising on effective case strategies, to dealing with HR issues and training. You will also play an active role in the overall management function of the organisation through attendance and participation in meetings and conferences. Additionally, you will have senior-level oversight on a variety of criminal cases and will be tasked with reviewing decisions made and ensuring consistency and quality of those decisions.

THE CANDIDATE:
This role is suited to a highly experienced Criminal Solicitor or Barrister with the ability to demonstrate leadership skills and management capability alongside their criminal law expertise. You will be able to highlight your prior experience in issues such as performance management, human resources matters, mentoring and training, and building relationships with other stakeholders.
