Are you an experienced Senior Data Analyst ?
Do you have excellent SQL skills ?
Have you Crystal Reports and Alteryx knowledge ?
If so I have a really interesting role with my global financial services client, based from their Edinburgh office however its hybrid working.
This is initially a 14 month Fixed Term Contract.
In this role you will be responsible for creating reports using Crystal Reports, SQL Developer & Alteryx.
Main responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining reports using Crystal Reports and/or SQL, as well as creating stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate and/or calculate information to fulfil data and reporting requirements.
- Use of Alteryx to assist with creating and maintaining reports.
- Work with report requesters to gather data and reporting requirements.
- Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed and kept up to date.
- Providing support for UAT of Systems Development.
- Managing scheduling of new and existing reports.
- To identify, evaluate and report risks to team manager.
- Ad-hoc project work.
Essential skills:
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Knowledge of Crystal Report.
- Good knowledge of Alteryx.
- Experience with Power BI (advantageous)
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to work unsupervised and under tight deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Strong ability to respond and investigate queries.
- Numerate with competent system skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling significant volumes of data.
