Requirements:
- Several years commercial experience working with C# and .NET Core
Experience with RDBMSs and NoSql technologies
SOLID design principles and common design patterns
Good object-oriented (OO) design skills, knowledge of patterns and architectural understanding
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery environments
Working knowledge for cloud platforms, AWS preferrable, Azure and GCP beneficial
Familiarity with Linux in a production environment.
Thorough understanding of testing frameworks and the practice of TDD
Proficiency in writing automated tests
Able to realise architectural designs into fully tested, performant, functional software
Willingness to learn, adopt and advance team best-practices, procedures and qualitative standards
Knowledge and experience of an Agile and Scrum working environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end C# .NET Core code in a service-oriented architecture
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Use and maintain modern build pipelines
Support groups of more junior engineers to achieve high quality outcomes
Provide comprehensive, automated test coverage of one's own outputs
Ensure the technical feasibility of system designs
Participate in requirements analysis and systems design process
Contribute to component, workflow, and tool design
Collaborate with other team members to deliver working products
Provide high quality tests and code coverage
Occasional direct interaction with customers and suppliers
Peer review code from one's team members and other C# .NET engineers
Ensure architecture, quality, and technology strategies are implemented.
