About the role:
At PwC, our Finance Business Partner roles are an integral part of the internal finance function. The Tax Markets and Services support is an established service provided to the Tax Leadership and Tax Network Leaders. The service covers a broad spectrum of business partnering, reporting, investigation and ad hoc work in the Tax Markets & Services space including Network, Industry, Sector, PCP and Growth Accelerators (investment areas ). This role is important in driving the growth agenda for the Tax business as a whole through providing insights that support meaningful commercial interventions across the business.
As a Finance Senior Manager you should have strong business, technical, analytical and commercial skills and be able to apply your knowledge to provide insight and advice to the Tax Markets and Services Leader, Network, Industry, Sector and PCP leaders.
As Finance Senior Manager, you will play a key role in the following areas:
- You will present headlines, key messages and analysis to senior stakeholders through multiple lenses
- Provide commercial insight and recommendations to the Tax Markets and Services Leader and associated business leaders
- Provide quality business partnering support; building and maintaining trusted relationships.
- Apply a strong digital mindset to enhance and automate MI to the greatest extent possible
- Leading and coaching a Senior Associate in delivering reporting including Board accounts and managing Tax product coding
Requirements:
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
- Commercially minded with a good understanding of a professional services business
- Previous business advisory experience
- Experience in reporting and planning procedures
- Demonstrable ability to communicate and influence at a senior level
- Strong analytical skills
- Desirable to have proficiency with data analytics and visualisation tools
