We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to work for a leading Transport and Logistics company based in Ipswich (5 days a week in the office).

About
The Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial reporting of the group, managing ledgers, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing strategic financial guidance.
Key Requirements:
- Responsible for direct management of the financial accounting team.
- Managing the corporate financial accounting group including the preparation of the annual statutory accounts, reviewing policies and procedures.
- Manage the corporate financial requirements of the group maximising shareholder value through long and short-term financial planning, including determining ability to issue dividends obtaining all authorisations, supporting decisions on sourcing capital.
- Managing the financial consolidations of the group, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years experience proven corporate finance experience in financial planning, analysis and decision support.
- Previous experience in financial accounting, knowledge of UK tax legislation including corporation tax and VAT.
- Previous management experience
- Qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA/CIMA.
