JSS Finance are delighted to be partnering with our client; an exciting business based near Hemel Hempstead, on the recruitment of an excellent new Senior FP&A Analyst role. This is an excellent newly created commercial finance analyst role for a qualified/finalist (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) to join the business at an exciting time. This new Senior FP&A Analyst role will partner closely with senior stakeholders, analysing, modelling, reporting and forecasting across the business. The role will present to management, highlight risks & opportunities and aid commercial decision making.


The Role:

This new Senior FP&A Analyst role sits in the commercial finance team and will own parts of the FP&A, management reporting and modelling, working closely with senior stakeholders, explaining business performance and aiding commercial decision making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of budgeting & forecasting with with all relevant stakeholders
  • Challenging and supporting key stakeholders within area's of responsibility
  • Prepare analysis and monthly commentary for board management reporting of P&L,

balance sheet and cashflow vs budget/forecast, highlighting key actions

  • Assist in preparation of monthly management reporting packs for the board
  • Use of Power BI to deliver insightful management reporting
  • Modelling various scenario's, providing recommendations to management
  • Identity and monitor risks & opportunities
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as required


Profile:

  • Qualified/Finalist Finance Analyst
  • Budgeting & forecasting experience
  • Financial modelling and good experience of excel and financial reporting tools
  • Experience of Power BI an advantage
  • Ability to explain complex information concisely i.e. tell the story behind the numbers


On Offer:

A highly competitive salary of circa £60,000-£64,000 10% Bonus, benefits + hybrid working usually 2-3 days in the office. Salary dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.
