Job Description

Our client based in Bristol at the junction of the M5/M4 at Aztec West are a busy Global FinTech software provider to the worlds top banks, asset managers, and broker-dealers .
They are looking for a Senior Front End Software Engineer - Front End with strong Angular and JavaScript , as they see this as a Senior role they really need a senior in this role to help lead the team and support the grads so you would need to demonstrate leadership experience in your current or previous role .
if you can work one day a week in the office the rest can be remote .
They are able to look at Sponsorship if that is required and you are already in the UK( this can take up to 6 months from start of process) . Skills

Scope of role:
Using the latest versions of Angular you will be developing the companies Design System and component library, applying your experience and technical knowledge into producing modern and effective UI elements that provide a centralised and consistent look and feel across their products.
You will manage a diverse workload including multiple parallel tasks and you will prioritise your time and tasks effectively. You will be designing and developing innovative solutions for the worlds leading financial institutions.
You will have a proven track record in building software which is of high quality, robust and scalable by design, as well as the ability to understand and introduce outside concepts to challenge the status quo or solve problems in software, tooling and process.
You will use your technical expertise to influence technical direction and to mentor junior members of the team.
Experience, training and qualification:
A degree or equivalent in Computer Science or IT; demonstrable equivalent professional knowledge.
Extensive experience in a software engineering or equivalent role
Experience of writing tests
Experience developing in a software vendor environment is advantageous
Financial software experience is also advantageous
