Overview
Our client is a well-known independent AAA studio creating some of the most exciting IPs onMajor Consoles and PC. They create a varied range of games with a focus on exciting shooting titles. The successful Experienced Gameplay Programmer will be responsible for helping Gameplay features working in a small, experienced team with a passion for delivering quality experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build general gameplay systems through design to implementation
-Working closely with designers, animators to implement game mechanics
- Working closely with a small passionate team to work on systems and features
- Creating maintainable, high quality code
- Experience mentoring junior programmers would be beneficial
Key Requirements
-Excellent C/C++ Programming skills, good understanding of OOP
-Strong professional experience having shipped at least one title on Console or PC
- Experience working with a large game codebase
- Knowledge of common algorithms, data structures and patterns
- Experience with AI Systems would be beneficial
