We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of intricate IT projects with precision and excellence. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the execution of projects, ensuring they adhere to strict timelines, budgetary constraints, and uncompromising quality benchmarks. Your responsibilities will span strategic planning, adept stakeholder engagement, and adept team leadership, all aimed at driving successful project outcomes. This role will report into the Managing Director and will have programme management aspects.


To succeed in this role, you will be a team player with a keen eye for detail and a creative problem solver with a “get things done” attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets in alignment with client requirements.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Manage project resources, including staffing, budget allocation, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reports, and communication to stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team culture focused on achieving project goals.


Experience Required

Must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects across the full lifecycle
  • Experience with SaaS, system integration and software development.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile (Kanban, Scrum), Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Professional Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are desirable.


Good-to-have:

  • Experience working in a client facing role, ideally from a consulting / systems integration background is also desirable.
  • Knowledge of reporting and financial budget management.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the project lifecycle, governance processes, standards, methodologies and tools.
