ABOUT THE ROLE:

Points (A Plusgrade Company) is looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Support to join our global team for a permanent position.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

This role reports to the Director of Business Development. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Act as the conduit between Business Development and the following teams for pre-sales, contract negotiation, and Partner onboarding stages:

• Data Science and Analytics

Assist in key functions to support Business Development throughout the deal cycle from proposal preparation to Partner go-live:

• Act as a hub for cross-functional teams and facilitate collaboration towards achieving common goals and outcomes

• Troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes

• Creation of presentations, demos, case studies and where appropriate - participate in sales opportunities

• Provide regular communications to internal and external stakeholders; both written and verbal. 

Help to define, drive, and deliver strategic programs in partnership with sales leadership team and functional teams:

• Frame and break down complex problems into key components, derive insights, and provide actionable recommendations to drive increased time to market

• Identify inefficiencies, implement change management solutions, and track progress through planning, process, and tool improvements

• Apply strong interpersonal skills to create partnerships and productive working relationships across the organization

Manage the global sales pipeline (Salesforce SalesCloud):

• Reporting and operationalizing key performance metrics, developing reporting tools and dashboards to help drive insights and actions

• Opportunity analysis around regional challenges and industry specific requirements 

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:

• 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, sales strategy, or business operations roles

• Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

• Strong communicator, able to quickly think on your feet, and deal directly with senior sales leaders

• High-degree of comfort working in a highly complex global company

• Strong analytical skills: taking data, information, and insights to advise approach

• Proven participation in process improvement initiatives and/or project management experience

• Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative

• Experience working with technologies including Salesforce, GSuite, Slack, FIGMA, Monday.com , etc

• Must be able to come into a listed hub office twice (minimum) a week
