Due to a very successful 2022 and expansion plans for this year, we are looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join a market leading Managed Service Provider based in the middle of Bournemouth and Southampton in a highly sought after location and building with a salary of up to £70k. The role is 8-5pm, Monday to Friday and has hybrid flexibility after a probation period.
The role is an exciting blend of working work clients in the design and implementation of network projects, to operational support for existing clients as part of the wider team. You will be the company's network infrastructure subject matter expert and your input and research in the future of network technology and practice will influence the direction of the business.
What expertise you'll need:
Layer 2 data centre access/ virtual access layer switching, vlans, vlan trunking, firewalls, NVAs, secure application gateways / reverse proxies, SSL offloading, load balancing (F5)
DHCP / MPLS/ VPLS, DNS (BIND & Microsoft DNS), voice/video integration - SIP, IP-PBX, SBC.
Cisco Nexus / HP Networking
Virtualisation technologies such as Microsoft Hyper-V and VMWare
Azure Private Cloud Deployments IE: Virtual Server Deployments, SaaS deployments
