Job Description

1. Lead and manage end-to-end IT and Change/Transformation projects within public sector organisations.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with strategic goals.
3. Utilise project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies and drive positive change.
5. Navigate complex public sector environments, addressing regulatory and compliance requirements throughout project lifecycles.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
7. Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
8. Provide regular project status updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

1. Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT and Change/Transformation projects within the public sector.
2. In-depth knowledge of public sector challenges, regulations, and compliance requirements.
3. Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering results within budget and timelines.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
6. Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies in the public sector.
7. Extremely strong senior stakeholder engagement, influencing, management.
