Job Description
- Lead and manage end-to-end IT and Change/Transformation projects within public sector organisations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in alignment with strategic goals.
- Utilise project management methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the adoption of innovative technologies and drive positive change.
- Navigate complex public sector environments, addressing regulatory and compliance requirements throughout project lifecycles.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT and Change/Transformation projects within the public sector.
- In-depth knowledge of public sector challenges, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong project management skills, with a focus on delivering results within budget and timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies in the public sector.
- Extremely strong senior stakeholder engagement, influencing, management.
