Oxbow Resourcing is hiring on behalf of a challenger bank for a Senior Prudential Risk Analyst to join this forward-thinking Risk Management team.

As a Senior Prudential Risk Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to work at the heart of operations, influencing key decisions and driving the risk management strategy forward.
Your Role
As a Senior Prudential Risk Analyst, you'll be the cornerstone of the second line of defense, overseeing risk management activities across the bank. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Risk Analysis and Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments of the Banks risk exposure by analysing financial statements, market trends, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. You'll monitor and evaluate risk factors to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Regulatory Documentation: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of crucial regulatory documents such as ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP.
- Stress Testing: Contribute to the design and execution of stress tests and scenario analyses to ensure our resilience under various conditions.
- Reporting: Provide comprehensive management information, reports, and updates on risk management dashboards to assist the bank in controlling its risk profile.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement within the risk management framework and implement new methodologies and tools to strengthen our risk assessment capabilities.
Experience required
- Experience: Proven experience in a recognised lending environment, with a track record of contributing to the completion of regulatory documents.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UK banking regulations and risk-related standards. Experience in credit, operational, market, and capital risk management is highly desirable.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools, along with a strong statistical background to interpret data and produce insightful reports. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to convey complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Attributes: You will be a self-starter with exceptional time management and organisational skills. Your entrepreneurial spirit drives you to achieve results independently, and you thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
