Summary:


Opportunity to build global, B2B public relations strategy for a Fortune 500 company that is leading the way in property loss prevention, climate resilience and business continuity. Develop executive communications program as trusted advisor to senior leaders, including CEO. Cultivates strong internal and external relationships to support and grow an integrated public relations program that helps the company achieve its business goals and objectives.


Responsibilities:

Serves as the global advisor for public relations efforts and works as a trusted advisor directly with senior leadership. Owns public relations efforts within marketing campaigns


Provides planning and strategic leadership for the development and execution of public relations objectives and strategies that demonstrate thought leadership, generate awareness, build understanding among key constituencies


Partners closely with CEO and other senior leaders


Manages the work of multiple public relations agency vendors and consultants in North America, UK, Singapore, Korea, and other markets in support of organizational goals and needs


Collaborates and builds consensus with key internal and external stakeholders and vendors


Leads crisis communication planning


Understands the attitudes and concerns of business leaders, employees, clients, the local community, opinion leaders, media, trade, and professional groups, and helps build positive relationships in support of business needs


Evaluates public relations processes and strategies in all markets to optimize the effectiveness, efficiency, creativity and quality of programs and tools


Measures the effectiveness of public relations programs, media coverage, and reputation risk


Aligns with internal and employee communications

Qualifications: Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree


Master’s degree highly preferred!


Experience:

Required:



  • 12 or more years in public relations in a corporate setting, or in the corporate practice at a public relations agency working on global public relations programs and projects
  • Demonstrated success as trusted advisor and coach working directly with CEOs
  • Broad, modern PR experience, including paid, earned, and owned; success in integrating PR with marketing campaigns
  • B2B experience required, insurance and financial services or other professional services
  • Sustainability and ESG experience
  • Experience with Public Relations measurement platforms (i.e. Cision)

Highly Preferred:

  • 15 or more years in public relations
  • Professional work experience collaborating with partners globally

  • Writing, presenting, speaking, and collaborating with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly skilled Microsoft Office user
  • Strategic approach and sound judgment
  • Skilled at PR program planning, as well as the ability to be agile as circumstances change
  • Experience managing and working with public relations agencies
  • Strong experience with senior-level counseling, issues management and crisis communications
  • Proven issue resolution, risk management and leadership skills
  • Confirmed ability to build relationships and consensus across business units and with key external constituencies
  • Proven results working with industry and national business and financial media
  • Consistent track record of delivery to tight budgets and timelines
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Experience using and integrating multiple communications channels

The salary range for this position is $118,900 to $170,900USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM Global’s comprehensive Total Rewards program that includes an incentive plan, generous health and well-being programs, a 401(k) and pension plan, career development opportunities, tuition reimbursement, flexible work, time off allowances and much more!
