WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING…
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Project and Development Teams to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of projects. Your primary responsibility is to conduct comprehensive testing of in-house applications, encompassing the design, writing, and updating of test cases and scripts.
This role involves overseeing quality assurance across the entire software product lifecycle, from inception to support and release. It entails contributing to test planning by meticulously reviewing both functional and non-functional requirements, identifying issues, and offering feedback on unclear or inadequate requirements.
You will be developing and maintaining test cases and scripts to support rigorous testing protocols, managing and executing the regression test suite to ensure application stability and reliability, and ensuring comprehensive requirements coverage and traceability within test specifications, including non-functional requirements.
Additionally, advocating for the implementation of testing processes, explaining their benefits and rationale across development and broader business functions, is essential.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR…
· Enthusiasm and drive.
· Proven experience in testing web and mobile applications
· The ability to access database systems for testing purposes e.g. SQL scripts
· Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban)
· Familiarity with scripting tools and languages
· Experience with automated testing tools for web, mobile or API testing automation
